Huacachina Travel Guide
Huacachina is a little oasis in the desert near the town of Ica, 150 miles south of Lima
It is around 5 hours by bus from Lima. There is no airport close and the only way is by bus to Ica and then a 10 minute taxi ride to Huacachina.
As it is in the desert, the weather is very dry and hot most of the year.
It’s a great place to relax but also a must is the buggy tour through the sand dunes for sunset.
